I tried using one of those reinked cartridge suppliers, but I had to throw away two of the cartridges because they either leaked or the colors were off. I am very happy with the Hewlett-Packard ink cartidges, the price I paid and the speed of service.

I purchase all my ink cartridges at Amazon. With "Prime" shipping, the ink arrives quickly. Most importantly, the total price is consistently the lowest available, either online or at retail stores.

I needed new HP 56 cartridges for my OfficeJet 5610 as I found my old saved cartridges had been empty too long to being able to accept refills. I saw the listing on Amazon for this twin pack with an unbeatable price. I had assumed it was a 'special version' of the 56 cartridge because the graphics on the packaging is different from retail stores thinking it might be required in order to justify the price point, but with free shipping I decided to take a chance. I am not a print output expert but for routine office applications, you cannot beat this deal with the free shipping. I used a refill kit before buying this set and then when the old cartridge could not refill, I bought these and I don't have to worry if they will work after a refill and waste my money on a refill kit that no longer works. Highly recommend it.

HP-56 black ink cartridges are the "most" economical cartridges on the market for ink jet printers. Twin pack with free shipping is the best price available. I have not tried generic brands, since I've had negative experiences with them in the past.
