5 out of 5 stars Convenient, tasty, and fun food for lunches or snacks   December 28, 2006

I keep a bunch of these in my office drawer for emergency lunches and snacks, and I love them. They taste great (not exactly chicken-y, but to me that's a plus), the nutrition isn't too bad -- certainly not when compared with mainstream instant ramen packages with their artery-hardening sodium levels and fried noodles (these are baked, and the sodium level isn't too bad), and the convenience simply can't be beat. They may not taste like "authentic" Japanese ramen noodles, but authenticity isn't their strength; instead, they allow you to enjoy convenience foods without incurring such a high cost to your body. Enjoy!

I have tried several of the Dr. McDougall soups and this is my favorite. It is very tasteful and filling. I like to add the boiling water and leave the soup stewing for 20-30 minutes since I don't like my noodles al dente. (I believe the directions say wait three minutes.)

This soup has very healthy ingredients. It is low in fat and good on sodium. Plus, it tastes great. It is one of the best (ingredients + nutrition + taste) instant soups I have found.

I love Amazon for sending food supplies to my son in college.

He loves ramen noodles, but he doesn't have a microwave so this flavor of Dr. McDougall's fit the bill. He just texted me yesterday to tell me how delicious this soup is. This is coming from a picky eater.

So there ya go. It's good.

5 out of 5 stars best vegetarian ramen soup   October 21, 2009

This is the best vegetarian Ramen soup I have found and I had really searched in stores and on the Internet since Fantastic Foods changed their recipe and price a few years ago. It's filling and delicious and low in fat and calories. I highly recommend it. (I do not recommend the McDougall Pilaf soup, the rice stays too hard)Dr. McDougall's Right Foods Chicken Flavor Ramen, 2.1-Ounce Cups (Pack of 6)
