I was apprehensive about ordering these when they were in the Gold Box, but I thought they would make a good last minute gift. Since I didn't know how they would taste and didn't want to give a gift that was awful, I HAD to taste them. I thought they were quite good. Addicting, in fact. I better hurry up and give away the other 5 canisters! They are not a bitter chocolate, so if that's what you expect when you see "dark chocolate," then you may be disappointed. I actually prefer milk chocolate, but I didn't find it as sweet as many milk chocolate products. There are two sealed packages of these rolled cookies in each canister. They should easily stay fresh. I'm sure most will find something to use the canisters for when the cookies are gone.
Makes a great gift! ... but I keep eating them before I can gift the tins! May 2, 2010

Wafers are nice and crispy, with strong dark chocolate taste. Makes a perfect gift for mother's day, Christmas stocking stuffers, school teacher presents, grandparents, list goes on and on. Nicely packaged with two separately sealed pouches in each tin. My only problem I keep eating them before I have a chance to gift them!

They are dark chocolate wrapped in crispy cookie wafer like 8" (about 8") "cookie tubes". The serving is 2 cookies, and they have 120 calories, but I get a nice cookie and chocolate "fix" with just one. The tin is nice, but I got these cookies on sale, and would either wait for a sale or look for one of the many less expensive alternatives. It is a great cookie, but to me, at full price is a bit expensive for what you get. Thanks for reading; I hope this is helpful.

Read about how these aren't really chocolate, and they really shouldn't say "dark chocolate" in the title when it isn't true, but at $8 for 6 canisters, I didn't hear anyone complaining that I gave them to. Of course, it was free to them! But for $1.20 each, they make great gifts for the non-discerning types.

Light, sweet wafer surrounding light, airy chocalte. Smooth, tasty treats, especially cold. Goes great with milk, coffee, tea, or hot chocalate. Worth the price!
